Moderator abuse
For all the mods out there...How have you used your mod powers to abuse others?
I am mod and admin on two other sites. Some of the things I have done...
I've changed people's avatars and signatures to reflect their TRUE online personality.
I've also added words to the curse word filter. One of our local guys is awefully proud of his accord. I added accord to the curse word filter, so everytime he typed accord in a post it showed up as "Civic". It took a while for him to figure it out, but was funny as hell.

There is no such thing as moderator abuse here. There is only "the mods doing what they feel like" and consequently, "you being a whiny bitch". 
The car section mod at Something Awful is the best, though. If you post a thread with the title "Help! My breaks dont work!", he will replace it with "Help! My BRAKES [NOTE HOW I SPELLED IT CORRECTLY] don''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' ''''''''''''''''t work". He will also do this to people's original posts. It's fantastic.
