Bikes are ******* sick, i actually just traded my brother my older cafe racer style gpz550 for his ninja500. It worked out because he brought his bike up to nm when he came, and i had left mine in texas where he lives.
Still to cold to cruise, but will be soon.
If you are looking to get a bike, get something slow. A kid at my school who has a wrx just got a yellow r6, and totaled it about 2 months after he got it.
Dont be stupid and kill yourselves.

As the others have said... it's been done.
Coldside M45 + T3/T4. The blower is there to basically help spool the turbo. Once it kicks in there's a special by-pass valve that takes the blower out of the equation. If you want ... search on M.net or the BRP/SOT site for ColdFusion...
The video that's been posted, was with an early build.... but before the build motor. He had to stop it early because it was doing stupid boost @ 4K or something like that.....

This is what I rode for about 20k miles out in California. I sold it when I moved here to VaBch. I'm a big fan of V-twins, plus it had the Italian sexy-factor and you didn't see very many of them anywhere. I upgraded with the Ohlins rear shock and Galfer wave rotors... and a few other things.
Very nice at around 120hp... still too much for my skill level, but I loved 2nd gear roll-on wheelies.

A car pulled out in front of me in an intersection about 2 years ago when I was on my r6. I had no where to to go an even with breaking hit it at 25mph. I hit it at an angle, smashed into the windshield which deflected me into the air, and I flew like superman for about 20ft before hitting the quarter panel of a minivan. Thankfully I was in full gear because I didnt sustain any skin damage which is SUPER painful. I did tear my ACL, LCL, and PCL on my right knee though. Both my ACL and LCL were ripped off the bone, the pcl they didn't repair at all, it isnt "needed" with strong quads.
A testament to modern surgery though is that after 6 months I was walking upright under my own power again, and within a month of vigorous weight training I could run and do drills again. I miss the bike, but I still have day terrors about it sometimes.
