Yeah dont like them much myself, but my friend who hates compaq's has had very good luck with his compaq laptop lol.

I really need need one for work and my evening classes.

+1 Newegg.com, i got my acer about a year ago for 950 bucks, and it still plays any game i throw at it on all high settings.

dell has no $400 deals at christmas they did.cheapest in the refurb section is around 700.do the acers have a warranty.are these any good Evo N600C .

just bought a compaq (i know i know I was against them for a while but hey) should be able to run Vista if i want. And it has what i need. LOL better than my desktop.
