I got the clearances re done on my 99 head. When i took the head off i left the motor at 10* BTDC and when reinstalling the head i re installed it all @ TDC. What i totally forgot to do, was re set the base timing. I left the CAS in the back of the head, so i have been down 10* for the past month or so.

Anyone have any idea how much power ive left off the table?

What kind of power do you guys see, on the dyno, with 1* of advance. I am at 15psi on a 2860 absurdflow 8.5:1 setup.

 

you didnt reverify your ecu timming at all when you reasembled? i would say you could be down as much as 20% or alil more depending on how agressive your initial tune was.

 

I didn't realize i had it out of wack till today when i was re thinking the whole assembly.

Edit: Whoops thought that was a screen shot of the timing map when i looked on photobucket.

I am at about 20-25* @ 15 psi, but in reality i was at 10-15* lol
