I mean I respect metal musicians don't get me wrong. If Mozart was born today, he'd be in a metal band. But its just too damn dramatic. I've never been able to relate to dragons or wizards or horror movies, so I guess I'm **** out of luck.

NoFX was cool in/for middle school/middle schoolers.

 

I don't like how they've evolved over the years. I still listen to them and all the other high school punk rock i used to.

I've seen a LOT of bands live, but the only thing that came close to "feel like you're on acid" was the Blue Man Group's show in Greenwich village. Very small venue, definitely not the happy-go-lucky PG-rated BMG you see on TV.
