Clearly not a Mazda engine. From the NC and Mazda revealing the ND power train, we know the Mazda engine has the exhaust on the other side...not the side shown in that pic.

I'm just glad to see the partnership with Fiat is still on. Had heard rumors that was falling apart. The more demand there is, the better the car will be.

From an engineer that works for the Chrysler and does a lot with Honeywell i was told i would be disappointed with the ND engine, but less disappointed with the Alpha engine.

1.4l turbo... limpdick. I'd rather have the 2.0 in the NC and boost it myself and actually have some potential.

Edit: not to mean that the 1.4t won't be more potent than the 2.0 in the NC now, just as far as a platform to build off; 1.4 is kind of lame even with DI and fancy turbo goodness.

"Alpha"? You guys confused the hell out of me - I was looking for a "Mazda Alpha" or a "Fiat Alpha". I couldn't for the life of me figure it out.

Learn how to spell "Alpha", motherphuckers.
