thats what i use, but I managed to find one on discount for like $100 shipped. It has been really nice to use so far and it is accurate to like 2-3% which was important to me when I built my motor.

Bought a HF 1/2 one. Works great thus far. Got a bunch of other crap while i was at it. I'm happy. I wouldn't build a motor with one but that's why you always have a mechanic friend willing to lend out tools.
