"A Scanner, Darkly" C-
Just got done watching this film. I really wanted to like it, thought that perhaps it would be a kind of "Primer meets Reservior Dogs" but somehow it just didn't do anything for me. Very pretty to look at, and clever in places, but overall it just seemed to drag from one cliche to the next until it was finally time for the end credits.

I've had netflix for 10 years. Unfortunately, my tastes have changed so all the recommendations and stars are fucked up.
The way the star system works is interesting- the # of stars they display for you for any given movie is based off the ratings of other people- who rate similarly to you. So if you rate Gone With the Wind a 5, and look up Predator, the stars # of stars displayed for Predator will be based off of the ratings from people who rated Gone With the Wind a 5.
