i think its a badass car, no doubt, the design will grow on everyone as you get more familiar with it, i think they did an outstandng job...providing all the stats are true...
offcourse id like to kill on at a track before i would consider buying one for myself, but the car is by no means ugly, its modern, this is where all cars are going, the edgy look with curves, you will get used to it

god forbid cars are made with windows anymore. I'm sure if the designers had their way the windows would be a small slit maybe 1" tall. if i were design a car, it is a must that the elbow can rest on the window sill parallel to the ground.

I've only run across one article in the mags I get (EVO, CAR, and Top Gear) where they acted like a car was BRAND new and that was recent, EVO treated the Mazda CX-7 like it was a new thing with no mention of the CX-9.

The official GTR website has the Tokyo Motor Show roll out of the new GTR beginning with an in car video of the GTR lapping hte Nordschleife in 7:38. That's not shabby at all.

My modded one:

I shortened the headlights, body matched the grille, got rid of the hood and fender scoops, body colored the A-pillar and raised the windows to get rid of the roof wedge. I also smoothed out the body lines, too many creases.

It's still ugly, the grille does nothing for me and the whole car looks awkward.
I like the cut of your jib. Where can i subscribe to your newsletter?

I think it looks pretty good. Then again, I'm a fan of Bangle (hyper-controversial BMW designer, in case you don't know).

I also read that it makes its power at only 10psi... it ought to have some serious room for growth with an exhaust and an ECU.

if you're going to go to all that trouble, just build the g35 engine and slap a turbonetics kit on it.. might not be as fast, but it'll certainly be cheaper.

well, an ex-coworker of mine just ordered a GTR. I didn't get a chance to ask him about what options he's getting, or even the time frame. But I guess eventually I'll be letting you guys know how they drive.

The dude has been talking about getting a Masarati since I met him 4 or 5 years ago. Personally, I'd rather have the Masarati. Still, I'll give the GTR a chance to impress me.
