So my car is going to paint either next week or the week after. I need some suggestions.. I'm torn on what color of "white" to get. So far i've got ITR white, Subaru (STI) "frost white" and Alpine white from BMW. Any other ideas?

hmm, my pimptastic pearl white Ferrari pic isn't showing anymore.

if you want super white, have the painter use the base white stock without any pigments added in. one of my dad's employees had a truck painted with the base white, and it looked really sharp.

 

I also really, really like the new ford and dodge off-white colors. I'd probably paint my car that color if the price were right (free). UPS brown is awesome too.

 

i've always been a fan of alpine white, but i do like the scooby white too

 

always loved the champ white. very recognizable color...

Frost white. Great white that keeps looking great.
Champ white is a hard white to paint, most places that try it typically end up with a bit of a yellowish hue.

 

champ white is the go....i really dont see the difference btw alpine and subi white!!!

 

So today was a big day.. I bought a BRG top for my car... and then found another hardtop cheap.. so now by the end of this weekend I will have 2 hard tops. My car also looks like a patchwork quilt... Green top, primer hood, and blue mirrors (not shown).

Sooo.. I bought that BRG hardtop for 600 bucks yesterday. Sure enough I flipped it for 1k today less then 24 hrs later. Didn't have the heart to paint over a perfect BRG w/ liner top. Back to looking for a hardtop again.
