Default new server should be ready in 24 hours

course then I have to install mySQL and copy the forum over, but progress is being made folks.
I, for one, am excited.

Not the pinnacle of technology but for us I think it will be good for a few years
AMD 64-bit 3000+
768 MB DDR RAM
120 GB Hard Drive
600 GB Data Transfer
100Mbps Connection

running fedora core 6.

oh and since I haven't run linux since like 1999 with me at root all bets are off

That not bad... that should work greatly for this forum.

Thanks Philip for all the hard work you have put into this forum.

No, I am not going to unnecessarily increase our SQL DB.

ok Philip. Is there an option to download PM's to your HDD? I looked thru it and couldn't find it. It would be nice to be able to do that... becuase some PMs are really helpful.

apache installed, sql installed, really all I need to do is configure apache and create the db's then transfer everything, maybe by the weekend we'll swap over, there will be some downtime towards the end of the week.

I have everything running and could technically move the site over now with very basic functionality but I want ISPCongig running and it's being a be-yatch
mysql is easy, 'yum install mysql' and it's installed. heh.

I'm running fedora 6, but I've got ISPConfig running on it, while confusing as **** it seems pretty easy to admin once set up.
