That was very good timing for me as I have been doing some reading up on handling balance and driving techniques so that I can become a better driver ... and well one of the more interesting topics to come up is the contact patch and how it changes with weight transfer. Was cool to see it in action.

otoh, nascar has helped development of some baddass v8s.

 

^ very true...its hard to drive man, i've got a TON of friends and the engineering is great...but every time a team or company gets ahead..they limit them to keep competition fair...its stupid.

 

I hate speed channel. I used to watch it all the time, now all they show is Nascar (HATE IT!) and that dumb *** life on the block show. I used to like the Barret Jackson when it was on once a year, screw it everyday.

 

Same here. Horray for Toyota though, getting in on the cup cars.

 

This stuff does come on, just at way off hours- like when most are a sleep or at work.
