Power just came back on, been without it since about 2am Monday. Never realize how good we have it until you have to go without it. Come home from my night job and sit in the dark for a while before going to bed out of boredom. Feel so alone without a TV or internet.

The weather never even got really bad from what I saw. We have much worse weather here in the spring and summer, but I guess it just blew down the right trees. A huge oak tree down the road from me got blown onto a pole and broke it off half way up. Of course we are at the end of the line, and my neighbors are on a separate line and had power , but the people up the road in front of my house (3 way T) had no power also. I also lost some car windows and have some minor house damage. Stupid wind, didn't even bring much rain or lightning. Only big gusty winds.

 

Weather was bullshit here today. Didn't lose power though surprisingly.
