Default Not having good luck with ATP turbo..

Ordered 18 or so Tbolt clamps and they sent me 18 or so hose clamps...

Emailed them telling them the mix up, and that I would ship the clamps back because I need the Tbolts asap, they told me to wait for their "investigation". Uh. What? I feel like i'm getting blown off here.

You should have gone through Kelly, he could have saved you money and straightened your mess out.

I go through kelly for almost anything now. Also, if you really need the clamps bad, here is a link to give you the part numbers from Napa.

how much boost are you running? depending on the boost, the type of couplers, and piping design, you shouldn't need t-bolts. I don't run t-bolts on any of my cars.. never had a pipe blow off.

I have had horrible luck when ordering thorugh the ATP website. Half the time, the pages don't load. Twice I've been on the order page, clicked "ORDER" or whatever, and the page dumps. Also, don't forget to read THE RED NOTICE ON THE BOTTOM OF THE ORDER PAGE FOR PAYPAL USERS. I think it's a bullshit necessity and the only website I've ever ordered from that requires it... They told me on the phone about 6 months ago that they weren't very happy with their internet provider. Sometimes mistakes are made, but every time I get on that website I get frustrated.

As for the not using T-bolt clamps... they're $2 each, makes for cheap insurance. For the extra $20 total, I'll take the piece of mind KNOWING none of my **** will ever blow off. T-bolts plus rolled pipe-ends FTW!

I spent Nil on couplers and worm-clamps....a few events later and i dropped over $150 on all new 3-ply silicone and t-clamps, never looked back.

i had a few 4-ply, so hard to manipulate...i would imagine you could run lot's of boost without clamps...especially on beaded pipes....

acutally come to think of it, i was acutally trying to remove a spare 4-ply coupler off an unused pipe yesterday....let's just say it's still on the damn pipe

it's a two person job, one to hold the coupler, the other to yank on the pipe and fall on his ***.

never had any problems with ATP. even visiting the shop. They were kind enough to swap out my hotside housing on my GT25. I had a .86 A/R and the traded me straight up for a .64.

If they don't straighten it out let me know and I will personally make sure it gets taken care of.

Well they told me that they would get back to me three days ago, I replied today telling them that I was starting a log of this online since I was not too happy with getting the run around. They replied with a return number and told me my clamps would be shipped out as soon as they recieved mine.

I thought I was the only one having problems with their website too.. Drives me crazy!

I would just make sure you go thru Kelly. I have had a few problems with sending the wrong part and with their heat shield taking a dump several times.. Anywho, glad you got it worked out!

Yes the website is pretty unreliable.

Even if your order is small and only a couple items its worth it going through me as you have someone to go to bat for you. I spend a **** ton of money with them (thanks to you guys as well) and they take pretty good care of me.
