Not your average flea market
Local flea market owner has his own exotic car museum.

I have to say that the Veyron wasn't as jaw dropping as I expected it to be. The Maserati MC12 (1 of only 50 ever made) on the other hand is just bad ***.

Beats me, but based on all his other cars I wouldn't doubt it.

The deal with the FXX was that if Ferrari allowed you to purchase one from them, they handle the car for you. You had to be one of Ferrari's best customers to even be considered eligible to purchase, and even then you fly to the track to drive, where afterward Ferrari puts the car back in the transporter and warehouses it. You don't get to take it home.
The stickers and museum are absolutely tax avoidance strategies. The cars promote the business of the museum. And I'm sure his books for the venture are very much in the red.
I'm not hating--it's very smart actually. It's one of those perks you get when you're already rich.

Wow...I mean just ******* wow.
Seems like a stunt on the surface, and a tax avoidance scheme when you *think* you're looking deeper...but in reality it's very cool. He gets to own the cars, avoid the taxes, and share (at least share vicariously) with other car enthusiasts (and random flea market shoppers...thus large gates and no up-close viewing).
Amazing collection nonetheless.

The guy has owned the property for decades, and it is always packed with people. He must make insane money!
I met his son (maybe 40 years old) and his buddy a couple of years ago in Mizner Park in Boca. He was driving the Enzo. His friend said he was woken up that morning by the Enzo revving in his driveway.
