Default Opinion needed on "bro code"

Here's the story.

Michael is at a club with his friend Brian. After a few drinks, Michael decides to go talk to Tiffany, Mark's girlfriend. Mark notices that his girlfriend is being a ***** because she is entertaining Michael. Mark gets really bothered and decides to let Michael know about it.

After exchanges of a few "**** yous" and what not, Michael and his buddy Brian get escorted out the club by the bouncer. Once outside the club, Michael observes Mark leaving the club and decides to shout "hey ****** **** you and your hoe." Mark loses his temper and decides to run across the parking lot to assault Michael. Mark lands to punches on Michael's jaw, at this moment Brian decides that his buddy is in danger and decides to put Mark on a rear naked choke and subsequently makes Mark go to sleep. For the records Brian approached Mark from behind, without Mark having any knowledge of his intention.

The question is, was a Brian a douche bag for getting involved? Was this a fair situation? do you think this was a 2 vs. 1 fight or was it simply a noble attempt of Brian to see for the safety of Michael and Mark?

Thanks

Brian was justified, and it was never two on one--just a mire switch of the hands. Brian didn't want to see Michael land in jail, considering he instigated the problems from the story you told. Brian did the right thing by breaking up the fight in the least damaging manor. It would have been a different story if Brian was holding Mark in a RNC while Michael was punching him or something to a similar effect; however, Michael was taken away.

It was a noble attempt to defeat the situation in my opinion, Michael would have really hurt Mark and Brian was looking out for the welfare of both parties without hurting Mark--considering Brian's background in Martial Arts, Marine Corps, Contracting etc. training seemed to kick-in.

Brian is justified because he did not want to see Michael in jail for a fight that he instigated and started. Therefore he intervenes. Now Mark happens two be against to individuals.

Sounds legit.

Michael was intoxicated while Brian wasn't--Michael's clear train-of-thought was 'out the window'--so to speak. Brian saved Michael whom happens to be his best friend from landing up in jail and realizing what he had done the next day. It was never two on one, by the time Brian put Mark in a RNC Michael was being escorted away, Michael never even saw Mark pass out.

if mark trusted tiffany, then this wouldn't even need to be an issue.
some guys are just insecure with their girls, and overprotective.
if tiffany has no intention of kissing or sleeping with michael, then mark is definitely in the wrong.

now, is brian wrong?
is it better to shoot the fair one?
wouldn't you appreciate your friend stepping in after you get knocked in the jaw?

only question that matters is why is mark so insecure?

This could hold very nice in court given that Martial Arts can be accounted as a weapon, when clearly Michael was the one to initially instigate, and continued to instigate the conflict after it was "broken up" the first time.

Nice try, aside from Mark being clearly insecure, why does Brian have to step in for his ****** friend?

Missing the point; Brian was sober for the most part trying to help his drunk friend out by not letting him go to jail. Now with that being said-- I sure hope any of my friends would do the best to keep me out of jail if I am intoxicated, doing something I wouldn't normally do when I was sober. People have careers to think about. Brian was mature enough to check his ego at the door.

Picture of Tiffany, if you're into asians.

Picture of Michael

Picture of Brian

How these pictures are just so you can get a clear picture, this is all fictional and doesn't involve me.

Mark is too insecure to have a girlfriend, he will lose her to his own insecurity, or if she is insecure as well, he will not actually lose her, but she will never be happy with him.

Brian has ended the confrontation that *mark* started without actually causing any physical harm to either party. Michael didn't start the physical altercation, it's not possible to initiate a physical altercation with words. If mark had been secure about his manhood, he would have looked at michael, blew him a kiss, and kept on walking - but apparently having a good looking girlfriend isn't enough for him.

Brian was being a good bro by choking out Mark because Mark was being a faygot and thought that a couple of words justified physical retaliation.

And besides, I absolutely LOVE it when guys hit on/talk to/stare at my girl in a club/bar. As long as they don't feel the need to satisfy their "grabbing" craving on my girl, it gets me excited about her, but it gets her excited about me even more. Most guys don't understand this simple **** - and besides, if she's talking to another guy, that frees me up to talk to another girl, and as long as you're not intentionally ignoring her, THAT **** makes her want to screw you RIGHT THE **** NOW.
