This thread suits me better than under 20 I suppose....lol.

24 years old. 1st year so far since I've been 16 that I'm not tied up with any girls, truly a great feeling. Lately moved past alot of old friends that were nothing but trouble and will always be trouble. My next plan is hopefully to prep taking over the family business with my brother. I don't know why but concrete is in my blood. I wont have any kids till I have a good chunk of change in the bank.....for sure. :)

Hmm, 33 goin on 34. Likely in a early "mid-life" crissis and refuse to get older. Dropped 20 LBS since retruning from a trip to Belarus and after thinking that I need to marry a girl that was born in the 80's. My wife is ready to kill me and I'm not sure where we're going in life. Own a home, 3 cars, no kids, and both have great jobs. I'm younger than she is by a few years and now feel the difference in age. I still want to drive fast and fly low... she wants to hang with her mom and listen to her mother complain about how bad her life is. Shit... I'm ready to quit my job and become a professional singer, get back into NASCAR racing, and bring home a hottie from Minsk...

Guess I'm 33 and showing it, right? Too early for a crisis or is it on time?

Cheers,
Prospero

You guys are all just pups..............................54 here, married with a daughter that just moved out and I'm looking at retirement in two years. Feel 84 some mornings due to all the motox and sports in my earlier years. Still a racing addict chasing autox, onroad rc cars/helis/planes.

Well, I'm 31. Used to own a house in Maineville OH, now living in So Cal and renting a 1br apartment. No wife, kids, or dog. I have a job where you can wear shorts to work and nobody looks at me funny when I walk in the front door wearing full leathers and a helmet. Making an awesome salary, been with the same company for 9 years, and come this fall I'm going to throw it all away and go back to school full time. How's that for a mid-life crisis?

22, graduating in december. Giving up construction in Alaska this summer to stay in TN and work in manufacturing with an industrial automation company. Taking a substantial pay cut, i'll be making 1/3 of what I did hourly back home and i'll be working 10-20 hours less per week. I love construction and have zero manufacturing experience so I'm giving it all up to try my hand at something new.
On the plus side I get to stay in TN with my g/f, autox every couple weeks, hit up a track day or two and I won't have to live to work as much as I do back home.

Stein 05-08-2008 12:51 PM

fixed.

25, married, Elise turns 14 months old tomorrow!

Zabac 05-08-2008 02:23 PM

This is more like it for me...I guess.
23, no wife no kids and I feel like I'm 50!
I guess I'm going through my first crisis or should I say second rebellion.
I had a great job that now really started to suck due to recent changes and pay cuts through the entire company (greedy owner). This is the second time this happend to me, no more!!! I am giving all this up as soon as I finish remodeling the house I bought and I will be starting my own business hopefully this fall, maybe even sooner.
I don't want to ever have a boss again, I want to decide my own fate and my own schedule and my own income. I want my life back!

27, and the only family I have are 12 plants in my house and on my porch. I travel constantly for work, so it works out well that way. One day a light is going to flip on and I'm going to cling to a girl like hell.

In Latin America that's called: "the seven year itch"

BTW, Prospero, I guess you know what your name means in Spanish; right? ;)

I ask because I was surprised by your Belarus remark.

Don't plan on it yet, those things have a way of working themselves out...
I'll give in to a girl eventually and hand her my sack over, just not yet

Hell, I have no idea what Prospero = in Spanish...

I actually got the name a long time ago from The Tempest, by William Shakespeare. Some pals of mine used the name a few times and it sorta stuck.

So, please tell me what it means in Spanish... I'm curious as hell now.

As for the 7-year itch, shit we've only been married for 3 years now. Damn, I'm screwed!

Cheers,
Prospero
