He only went to Syracuse(not an Ivy league school) where he got his law degree. So he can't possibly be any better than Palin.
Consider, Palin was governor of a state with less than half of the people that live in Palm Beach County.

Syracuse is like consistently ranked a top law school. And even its undergrad program is ranked #52 I believe, which is damn good. It's a tier 1 school.

you think palin knew she was going to have a down syndrome kid when she cut funding for special-needs kids in Alaska?

you think palin knew she was going to run for VP when she over and over stated she was for the bridge to nowhere as part of her gubernatorial platform?

did you know that the plane she "put on ebay" didn't actually SELL on ebay? mind you it wasn't even paid for by taxpayers--they dont pay taxes.

but it's ok. you are allowed to change your mind. or leave the details out.

Thats only if the republicans realllly want to win this year like 2000.

They're already talking about problems with the voting system. I am re-registering in Tallahassee, I especially don't want to deal with the absentee system.

You know I heard a break down on her speech today on NPR. Apparently 90% of her personal boasts and 90% of her Obama attacks were exaggerated or falsified.

Namely, the "bridge to no where" had already been struck down by time it came to her office. Her signing it away was more a eulogy.

Her claims that Obama will raise taxes for everyone was another stretch. Obama just wants to allow the fiscally irresponsible Bush tax cuts to fade away.

As mayor of her little town, she secured more funds with her lobbyist than was allotted to the entire city of Boise, Idaho which has 40 times more people.

Oh, the god's plan iraq video. Notice it starts mid sentence. Can you say "out of context"?

I knew you could.

Oh and ultra liberal NPR is of course completely unbiased....

Factcheck had plenty to say about the Dem's and Obama's facts too.

Both sides are politicians. Both sides lie, exagerate and are full of crap and themselves. There's plenty of mud to sling both ways.

The biggest problem with the Bush era was control of the house, senate and white house by one party. We'll have equal but different problems if the Dem's control all three also. Gotta have some balance of power. A single party running all three levels of Gov't is a sure disaster.

I'm with you on that. However i'm afraid of 4 more years of a lame duck president. I suppose it could theoretically be veto override territory, but still the power of both congress and the president would be massively stunted by such a division (having mccain in office and a demo congress).

you're right, that is a main tenant of all religions. Faith/belief means suspending logic. It's just something I find humerous/disturbing.

Bottom line.

I don't believe the government has the rights of the people and can dole them out as they see fit. I believe the government is there to protect the rights of the people and they choose what is appropriate.

I will never vote democrat. I don't care it the rest of the world hates us for not being as socialist as they are. People have plenty to say about places like denmark.
