BTW, I heard rumors that the no outside alcohol policy is going to be actively enforced this year. It's always actually been a policy at RoadA, but we've always gotten away with crazy stuff from bringing in mountains of adult beverages to midnight offroad golf cart adventures to exploding propane tanks. I'm told that they will be cracking down this year.

That's make me feel better I'm not going this year... was debating heading out in the morning for a day visit - but paying for over-priced beer is not happening - have fun - I'll be watching from the couch, drinking my cheap beer

No problem sneaking beer in for us. We took the CaymanR and parked in the Porsche corral. Was pretty good. Didn't seem as crowded this year, might have to do with no Audi or Peugeot.

That's what I was guessing as well from seeing some off the arial shots while streaming the video feed... maybe 3/4 of the crowd last year? you have fun - get durnk

It was surprisingly empty this year compared to last. I didnt really mind to be honest though, We got to watch the race from pretty much every single turn at sometime during the race.
