I never really understood the point in swapping in a sr engine into a miata. It is only .2L bigger, is not super strong, and basically not much better than a built bp. The effort put into making it work in a miata could have easily been spent on taking out the stock motor and building it.

If you were sticking with NA, and wanted light weight and high revs, then it'd be a honda IMO.
