Default picture threads .... 56K need not apply

[rant]

Ok, what the ****. Who in the hell actually has a 56K modem connection any more? Ok we've established that nobody we give a **** about does, so why in the name of all that is holy do you people continue to put **** like this in thread titles?

56K no way!
56K death!
56K don't even bother!

Who the hell are you guys talking to? Why not put this instead:

Picture thread ... I'm too lazy/stupid to resize my pictures or link via thumbnails.

[/rant]

That feels better. Bring on the noise.

I agree. I'm all for being too lazy to resize. adding "56k death" is just dumb

Leave it to the gubmint to have a bmp file that big when it could be a 500k file. And, what's the deal with ND having a homeland security division, anyway? Who is going to attack there? There's even less there than there is here in NE.

so... I want you to understand how long this thread took to load. Please pay attention to the lower right hand corner clock. These screencaps are unretouched. Some of you may appreciate the recursive nature of the screen cap of the previous screen cap.

yah, over 11 minutes.
