I think his deductible was less than that. They will get him any brand tire he wants too. So at least its not too bad.. and no he hasent done anything near the apartment complex.

lol j/k. That is really messed up but you can't beat a new paint job and tires for less that $500.

I had an XGF throw a brick through the windsheild of my jetta...yes, like a ghetto *****, which is why I left.
I've had so many people vandalize my green miata in Dallas and OKC that I finally quit driving it anywhere and bought an ugly, ******* miata that I would actually look better with some vigilante spray-paint.
edit: my personal favorite was the time "------" was spraypainted on the side of the car, the night before a trackday at Hallett. I was super pissed, but still made it to the track. It was a hit.

that said, maybe your buddy was breaking lose in 1st, 2nd and 3rd in front of some guys house who was feeling the Ford power, so that guy went and fixed it so it'll be off the road for a bit.
Years ago this douchebag in my neighborhood cut off some apparent mafia guy on the highway. The mafia guy ended up in a ditch with his 2 year old son in the back of his lincoln. Mafia guy gets plate. Mafia guy the following day has someone blow up buddies Neon in the middle of the day.
I think its rare that people with jealousy do that much damage; wouldn't we agree a key down the side of a nice car is usually enough ?
