I'm a little biased but if you want Job security and something you can use when you get out, go Air Force. They really take care of their people. I'm finishing my degree right now and afterwards will be applying for Commissioning. I can't stress enough how EASY the Air Force is and how REWARDING it can be for the simplest of things you do. I made a Product using Excel and Powerpoint using the very basics, and I received an award, coin, and put in for Nco of the year at undisclosed deployed base. Granted it was made for the General to look at in case ---- went south with our neighbors, the amount of effort I took to create that ---- was nil.
What branch? She's not disabled either, took shrapnel through the ankle and a piece to the lower neck. Another inch up or to the right and she'd have been a goner. Now she schools me in P90X. 23 years and just put on E8. (Active to Reservist)

I build stuff, and break other stuff.
I've owned a bunch of crappy cars which, when summed together, have a total number of cylinders which is a prime number.

With all due respect to your mother, you are in a place called The Internet. It is filled with people who have the emotional maturity of a retarded 10 year old child on crack. (insert criticism from parents of retarded 10 year olds here.) If you cannot read a joke involving "your mom" without taking it personally, then I suggest you move to Pennsylvania and join the Amish, as that's just about the only place where you will be safe from our witty onslaught.

I hear the same thing from my sister, she's a Major in the USAF(medical). My brother is a Warrant Officer in the Army (pilot) and my father was a Lt. Colonel(rt) in the Army(pilot, badass). I have a lot of different opinions coming from different people in different branches during different times. It's a lot to take in, but I'm sifting through it.

My wife just sent this to me. It's my 95' Silvia that a buddy and I painted ourselves and swapped the sr20 into. I sold it last september because I was still clawing my way out of debt, and now it sits at Typhoon Motors, being parted out. I spent like a month swapping the engine and doing all the body work. Those aren't the rims I put on there btw.
Yep - 2 yrs too long. 159th Avn Reg, 8th Bat (I was no Night Stalker, bad-*** SOBs). Was a generator mech. We lost a guy in Somolia '93 - he decided to go for a swim and a shark took off his leg - honest truth, no ****.
I'm a software developer. I lived in Canadia and didn't want a shitty car + dealing with winter + knowing I would want to modify it. So I've only been driving after coming to the US, i.e. for 3 years.
