So, I was just browsing the https://www.miataturbo.net/general-m...le-n00b-66859/ thread and had an epiphany. I'm wondering if MT.net should have it's own Posting Law. We all know Godwin's Law of **** Analogies and how understanding it is a fairly critical piece of how internet forums work and the culture of the internet in general... or perhaps general culture (in general).

If you've never heard of Godwins Law, you must click on the Wikipedia link below and read. While the law may initially seem a bit funny, it might also give you a bit of perspective (on what, I don't know).

I don't mean to sound "deep" here, but only because I lack the literary style to be a truly eloquent writer, so I'll just come out and say it... here's my take on MT.nets LAW:

MT.nets LAW (also known as MT.nets Law of Gay Sex or Cats) is an observation made by SamNavy in 2012 that has become locally recognized as the only real reason the site exists. It states: "As a thread at MT.net grows longer, the probability of the discussion turning into GAY SEX or CATS appproaches 1." In other words, nobody at MT.net really cares about Miatas or Turbo's as it's name would suggest, nor are they gay, but rather the members are ALL subconsciously waiting to turn every thread into GAY SEX or CATS simply for the lolz... the thread just has to get appropriately long. How long the thread needs to get is a matter of infinite variability and cannot be mathematically expressed, but the members somehow intuitively know the exact number of posts when it becomes appropriate, and instinctively swing the discussion to GAY SEX or CATS.

We need a better name for the Law, andt Hustlers Law is too easy... open for debate.

PS: I'm very very very serial about this, and NO, the law will not be names for me like it was for Godwin.
