So I bought a glass convertable top yesterday off some guy 150 miles away. Picked it up. I came home.. decided why not put it for sale for more money see if anyone is willing to cough up that much.. if noones interest just use it anyway. Now the guy I bought it off just emailed me this.

Also I should note.. the pictures i'm reffering to are pictures of the top on his car he used in his ad.. you can't read his license plate.. its just a simple white miata with a new top on it.

I read what the guy you bought it from said. If he is correct than I would have a problem with it also. It seemed as if you practically begged the guy to hold it for you until you could go pick it up because you really really needed it. It seemed like the guy went out of his way and told other people that it was sold because you wanted him to hold it until it was convient for you to pick it up. All he wanted was to get rid of it asap. If I were you and I wanted it just to resell it I would have told him to call me by the end of the week and if you still have it I will come buy it. Thats my .02

Well... I do need the top I didn't lie. I just thought it was a great deal and also found a hardtop the day before I went to pick up his softtop but because I gave him my word I went ahead and got it and tried to sell it quick.. for as much as I can. The douche deleted my listing on craigslist and I didn't bother selling it again. I've kept the top. And also no I didn't put the sale ad before buying it. And the guy bullshitted when he said I told him friday.. I work 8am-6pm and school 6:30pm-9:30pm. No time to drive an hour and half away during the week so I told him saturday i'd be able to come. Regardless if we agreed $200 I gave him the extra $50 for understanding. If this makes me a douche bag.. well than I guess I am.
