I always wanted to build that Tamiya Sand Scorcher.
In other news, took a tractor ride today along the beach to Cape Kidnappers to see the Gannett seabird colony. With my in-laws and stuff. It was a fine way to spend the afternoon.
The bonus was not being killed by the landslide that happened just behind our tractor:
I may have exaggerated the threat of death somewhat, it was only a couple of boulders that didn't go far past the bottom of the cliff, and didn't make it to the surf line where the tractors went past. But it made an impressive dust cloud that the last tractor had to wait for before continuing past that point.

It worked, the examiners watched paint dry for ten hours, and the film was given a "U" rating (equivalent to "G" in the US MPAA system).
The filmmaker is allegedly in discussion with a cinema in London for a public exhibition. No word yet on whether it'll happen.
