Or we add complexity to the unit and leak points so that we can keep our colored anodized finished looking "FRESH". Why even anodize it at all?

Wonder when turbosmart went cheap on their coatings. I have a black Ultragate38 that i used for 50k miles and has to be 10 years old by now. It's still black as night.

Kind of a rudimentary fashion. The Kinect could transfer motion to an avatar but to be able to take motion from one real body and transfer it into motion of another real body is way cooler.

Pretty soon we’ll be able to actually show a video of Sean Hannity implicating the President in real time and someone’s head will explode. Oops wrong thread.... Sorry

I guess they do somewhat now with sensors, green screens and software. Joe P would know better.

It is cool, but that is actually pretty old ****. I posted a video link to a university student project here a couple years ago showing real-time facial transposition onto a target figure. Even that was eons ago in the AI realm though, as that generation of capability has been wildly surpassed now. This has currently led to a huge effort in AI research circles to develop tools to detect synthesized video, as the current state of the art is well beyond human detection.

I've search for the actual student project video, but I can't find it (or it is no longer working). Here's an old video referencing it though:
