y8s's overwhelming level-headed logic has defeated the insanity that otherwise governs the MTnet.
In my experience the vast majority of drivers are completely terrible. Im constantly baffled by the actions of other drivers on a daily basis.
When 99% of people cant drive worth a **** its very difficult to say that any one group of people are bad drivers.

I thought Dallas was bad, but DC drivers take the cake.
On a side note. I found out about your "SLUG" system. Damn you guys are weird. Who volunteers to drive or ride with total strangers. Seriously WTF.

That was my commute for two years from northern virginia to capitol hill.
I believe there are speed cameras on some of that stretch now. so you can go 50mph and not get a ticket or you can go 70 and not get shunted.
Holy hell. I just drove through there going over to Cambridge,MD for the half Ironman and that **** was unreal. It does not matter at all what the speed limit is, you are going 75mph. I was coming in on 66 and thought I would just take it 395 to 295 over to 50. Bad ******* idea. I went 495 home.
