She actually took delivery of my S4 when it came back from VAST and tested a few thangs out since I was out of the country. I also blame her for the eventual demise of my pressure plate but w/e.

y8s's overwhelming level-headed logic has defeated the insanity that otherwise governs the MTnet.

In my experience the vast majority of drivers are completely terrible. Im constantly baffled by the actions of other drivers on a daily basis.
When 99% of people cant drive worth a **** its very difficult to say that any one group of people are bad drivers.

I wasn't EVEN going to touch on that however my observations with the lower ends of Kansas City Missouri agree with you completely.

the distinction here is the sweeping generalization versus the specific observation.

the speed limit on the "freeway" heading through southeast DC is 40mph. IF YOU WANT TO DIE.

Holy hell. I just drove through there going over to Cambridge,MD for the half Ironman and that **** was unreal. It does not matter at all what the speed limit is, you are going 75mph. I was coming in on 66 and thought I would just take it 395 to 295 over to 50. Bad ******* idea. I went 495 home.

I thought Dallas was bad, but DC drivers take the cake.

On a side note. I found out about your "SLUG" system. Damn you guys are weird. Who volunteers to drive or ride with total strangers. Seriously WTF.

That was my commute for two years from northern virginia to capitol hill.

I believe there are speed cameras on some of that stretch now. so you can go 50mph and not get a ticket or you can go 70 and not get shunted.

In my experience I find black people to be fairly good, attentive drivers.

That's how they get away with stolen cars. Cops don't notice you when you drive careful
