One of the companies products I work on had a job posting for rebuilding 56k modems a while back. I should have screenshoted it.

engineers would have put in a carriage bolt with a square shank and the nut on the other side. And then you couldn't get the bolt in cuz of pulley.

Gotta take it all apart to assemble, which works out because my 2nd shift guy blasted these and got a ton of grit in the bearings. Needed to be cleaned.

Fab guys be like: "it's 5'o-clock somewhere, give me another beer"

So I 'm in Nepal, shooting more episodes of Water Walk...

We were up in the mountains for a week, and we installed a clean water system for a small village.
Currently in Kathmandu, implementing a drinking water solution for a slum by the Ganges (the main tributary which is basically just an open sewer)
An eight hour drive awaits us tomorrow, all the way to the Nepal-India border, to drill a well for a small village...

We celebrated Holi Fest with the locals today. A 45 minute shower was required to rid myself of all the colorful powder dye I was subjected to...

This is our second tour, we were in Zanzibar before this place.

Uzi, Zanzibar

Kathmandu, Nepal

Village store in the mountains, Nepal

Burning the dead on the banks of Ganges, Nepal

Wait, there is more...

Neat stuff. The themes remind me a bit of the comic series Romantically Apocalyptic.

Romantically Apocalyptic Webcomic - Romantically Apocalyptic

If I am in the picture, it means I have handed my phone to someone to take a pic.
Otherwise, it is all me and my trusted Note 4.
