Bigger brakes won't help you stop faster
Limited slip won't help you get out of a corner faster
$400 shocks are better than the same shocks at $200

I dunno man. I know and understand your argument. Here's mine: My 1.8 brakes can be modulated, and it's very easy to find the braking limit that gives max decel w/o locking the wheels up. I couldn't ever modulate the 1.6 brakes to find that limit; it was always not enough or too much.
