i painted the chassis back in october when the temps were still ok in the garage. now its a little to cold so i cant paint the body parts till more like 65+ degree weather. but i am working on preping and primering the parts.

thx again guys

btw... those frame rail reinforments on my page i made... loooving them. i hiiighly suggest getting/making some. this car feels juust like my civic over potholes and bumps now. even with the springs and poly bushings. if anyone is interested in getting a set i could pump some out for you guys if your interested.

its tuned for 6 now . so now i can finally give some reviews on the 300zx turbo. once again i am not tuned for any high boost yet but for what i can see now this is what i have to say... spool up in vertually instant the second you get on the gas in any gear at any speed you got about 3 psi on hand. it climbs to 6 7ish is a fraction of a second. the power (though i have been power starved for a few months so my readings could be scewed) felt suprising for such a small turbo and low *** boost. pulled like my t25 .48/.49 sunbird turbo did on my civic 1.6 non vtec at 10 pounds and with waaaaay better spool. i will get to know next sunday how it does with 15 psi or so and i can tell you where it starts to level out and not feel like i am getting back what i put into it. and a dyno the weekend after maybe.

miata on boost thoughts.... wow this is just what the car needed. this thing is a blast, f ing blast! i dont think you will see me in anyother car for a looong time.

for those of your boosting your car.... DO IT NOW! haha this car is awsome on boost, so much more fun than any other boosted car i have been in and hell i am not even making near the power i want yet. traction is **** in first and in a corner, ahhh thats another story... still getting used to that :gay:

nice man .. i cant wait until i get my megasquirt sorted out. I tried installing one a few months back and couldnt get it running right, messed with the board for a while and just couldnt get it to work right, so I ordered a new kit and hopefully can get it working soon. Drivability sucks with the stock ecu.

Well, that's not entirely true.

That manifold is sweet. I've heard just welding aluminum is difficult plus that looks like a cast manifold and the tubing is a lot thinner. More than I'm capable of. I was thinking about doing a manifold in steal just to avoid all that. It would be ugly and heavy but it would be within my abilities.

for aluminum just make sure its super clean. other than that make sure all your joints are perfect fits. a nice joint with aluminum is the only way to make a nice consistant weld.

clean clean clean. thx man. i need to brace it this week. so for you intake manifold diy guys they do need bracing. i was hoping to at least get it tuned but the vibration that it sees is insane on this motor. now i know why the stock im brace is the size it is :gay:

My god, that is the engine bay I aspire to have one of these days. Im getting closer, but still need to rearrange a few things. What did you use to strap down the fuse box, thats my next thing to do to clean up my engine bay. Then when I get megasquirt working right I can finally get that damn AFM out of there. I dont know why, but there is something beautiful about simplicity, especially in these days when everyone seems to want everything so gaudy and cluttered with bling. When you put your Headlights back on, your engine bay wont look too different from mine.

you do notice that my headlights are already on right? thx man. i had to make a bracket for the fuse box. put my turn signals in my running lights. cant you guys see that pic? time to get this thing looking like an accul car haha.

tuning for 15 psi this sunday well see how long the vicous lasts :gay:

if you like simplicty look under my dash. you wont beleive how much crap is under there. you can look thru my windshield vents to my floor and my dash board vents you can see behind the dash.

nice how did you integrate the headlights into the turn signals i love it. also where did the wires go did you do a complete rewire and strip out the nonessential or what if so you have alot of time on your hands man, and a good deal more patience than me. wow
