One last question then im gone!

I think the weak link in your system is your transmission. Doesn't that car have a knock sensor already? Not that it's infallible, but you can tap into it with a knock gauge just to be on the safe side.
Wait, did you get the all wheel drive jobbie? Don't go thinking that drag launching it is a good idea either. That's a quick way to burn clutches and break expensive drivetrain goodies.

you should be fine at those boost levels, like i said earlier i was running 18 psi before i realized it wasnt make anymore power than at 16 psi, on the stock fuel system. Dsms run really rich so you have a lot of room to play with. The trans are the weak link in dsms but you shouldnt have any problems till you start puttin out big hp numbers. When you launch the car you have to feed the clutch to it, dont just dump it or youll bog the car down, just slowly release it, with an upgraded clutch and the 16g you definity understand youll need to slip the clutch, like when you dont let the clutch all the way out and you excellerate, if you smell it burnin give it more gas next time.

actually my car was awd, and its not that dsms are fragile, its all awd cars, you put 300hp, dump the clutch, the power has to go somewhere, and trans are usually the weakest link. People where blowing clutches and breaking trans on evos and subarus because they would rev the cars to redline and drop the clutch, if you feed the clutch and dont rev it to redline theyll hold up unless you have huge hp. Like i said 321hp, 30+ launches, AWD, no breaks
