So the countdown begins

Ah, I was waiting for someone to get their panties in a bind over that. We had a saying when I was living in West Virginia. If you throw a brick in the pigpen the one that squeals is the one you hit. No you and your wife are not turning your kids into ****. The people who are raising them are. Sorry, just my opinion.
Do you want to call my grandmother and ask her. She raised two kids and has been married for over 60 years so maybe that will meet your qualifications to comment on the subject.

As for grandma, is that on your mom or dad's side?
So when a kid is in daycare they are being raised (and fucked up) by the people that work there, or by our being absent during this time? What happens when they go to school? My son will spend approximately the same number of hours in daycare through the day as he will in school. As a result I will spend about the same amount of time with him as I did while he was in daycare. So are the teachers in the school also raising my son? This would not change if either myself or my wife stays home once they enter school, unless of course we home schooled.
Do you also advocate that home schooling is the only way to to have your kids fucked up by the system? We all know that kids who are home schooled are better members of society than kids who are taugh outside the home. Oh wait, no we don't.
To me it sounds like you have daddy issues, maybe your should get some help with that. If I were local, I'd throw the football around with you. I don't own a corvette or a big house.

Dont get me wrong, my parents, grandparents, and sibling are all teachers, but even they recognize this fact. Its a popular but grossly incorrect notion that public educated kids are 'better off' then home schoolers. Not so.
Another fact, reducing or eliminating TV and video games etc for children greatly increases, or should I say...does not retard their attention span like TV and games do. If you really want your kids to learn and excel reducing TV etc to almost nothing is a great idea.
Another fact, children of broken (divorced) homes have many more problems then those in a long term stable marriage. My mother had a career 'fixing' the issues of such children.
I have raised 3 kids. Tested these principles too.
All in all, you can still eff up your children, if you try.

The bottom line is I think you would have a hard time finding any parents who thought they messed up their kids by spending too much time with them. On the other hand, I bet you could find a whole bunch of parents who watched their kids cry every day when they dropped them off at daycare. I am generally open minded but if you want to argue that kids are better off in daycare you are wasting your time. There are just some things of which I cannot be convinced.

Let me start over from scratch. If I was trying to make the PERFECT child I would NOT:
- remove him from his mother
- ship him off to stay with strangers all day who are watching 20 other kids
- have his father work 80 hours a week
- buy him every single thing he could ever ask for and more
- let him watch 6 hours of MTV per day
- allow him to wear his pants around his *** (or dress like a *****)
- teach him that George Washington was a racist bastard, that the evil human race and the US are destroying the planet, and having two mommies is equal or superior to having a man in the house
Any ideas in there that you cannot agree with? Perhaps if I did the opposite of those things the child may in fact be better off. Hmmm.....

While you are certainly entitled to your opinion of me, wonder what my opinion of you is based on the entirety of your 19 contributions to this board:
whoa whoa whoa
slow down with the pics, my 56k is overheating

come on guys, I just want to hear my new muffler system
LMAO
people, these units are like 8-10 years old
great for sound quality, minus most of the "fancy" stuff new units come with
fuuuu

I agree they're really sexy. They better be cheaper than 6ULs though.

I like the idea of the easy install and reliability for a daily driver. As mentioned however, as a Miata owner (cheap cars) I want the best bang for my buck (pardon the cliche). $3,295 for 5psi with the slight possibility of 7psi just doesn't meat the criteria.
how much road head was exchanged?
lmao
love that stuff, oatmeal FTW
what a toolbag, shifting his automatic
my friend has an SS, def eats gas
eminem owns your face
oh, and we can still see your email address
lulz
individual taste is too individual for something like this
I don't want a calendar of 12 DIY beater turbo cars
good stuff, wish I had one
4 engines? You could have been tracking and enjoying an Evo non-stop for all that time, effort and money.
So he's the expert on finance and now raising children. Such a wise man!
