I've had some cooking for about 3 months now (soaking in vanilla fumes). If you were hear I we'd burn one up.

Congatulations man!

Cute kid.

Welcome to the club. Don't ever forget how you feel today. Right now you want to do everything you can for that little one, and don't have an ounce of selfishness or doubt in your ability to be the best dad you can be. Don't ever let that go. It's your job to show that kid the world, and they learn the most just by watching you.

You're probably getting a lot of advice now, so just soak it all up. We only give so much of it because 1.)it's important and 2.) we all learned things we could have done better. You won't get it all right along the way, but you damn well better try.

BIG congrats man!!! It is life changing for sure (2yr old)! And pretty much all the advice given thus far is right on. Spend all the time you can, and don't forget the feeling of super dad. Be prepared to sleep in 3hr intervals for the next 12months or so, BUT every time you get that look from your kid....it just all disappears and all thats left is you two. Enjoy it!
