Default some vid from tws april '08 in-car turbo miata

had the best time ever at the last nasa event. i had been there once before in august of '07, but i was taking it easy learning the track. this time i ran in the advanced group and had a blast.

this vid is from the second session, i'm chasing a turbo 911 on hoosiers and a cmc class mustang race car.

this one is a bunch of clips from sessions 3 and 4. and i'm chasing a supercharged 911 turbo race car and that same pesky stang. not sure why he running in our group.

Too much track time wasted in traffic! You either need to be the first one to go out or wait to hit the track right when the first cars are coming around to complete their first lap. They're killing you're opportunity to go fast through the turns. You're way faster than most of those guys.

I can tell you're working on the line, but it just sucks to work on the line without actually get the full effect of it's purpose. Thanks for the vid.

yeah, your right, i actually had clear track in one of my sessions though which was a big help. and it was a fun and awesome feeling to have to ''let off'' behind some of those badass cars in the turns. btw, dunlop Z1's are the best 140-up treadwear street tire in the world. i was afraid i would be holding up some of those cars out there, not the other way around! everybody was on hoosiers or kuhmo slicks. they're were 195/55/15's also. the 205/50/15's are not out yet. i'll post setup in sig.

cut hole in frt. bumper for side mounted oil cooler. my friend that owned the car before me cut the frt. bumper to get more air to the intercooler and rad. (which looks hideous) also has a koyo rad. greddy hi psi cap. a radiator cooling plate to direct the airflow., coolant reroute, the splitter supposedly breaks up the hi/pres. area in frt. of the car, but i made it for the decrease in lift and to help high speed stability, which it does. also run 90% distilled water and 10% coolant and dei coolant additive (like water wetter but better). when i was at tws the first time, i was worried cuz it was 97 deg.! track temp was like 120+ !!! and my temp. never fluctuated).

cool. I really do not want to cut my bumper like that. Did you do any shrouding to get the air in the mouth through the heat exchangers?
