I bet. I was going to get a 1-hose 3-footer from this one bazaar, glad I held out, this one was 5' and 4-hose for $178!

 

Exchange reate must be a little better here, you can get 4 footers all day long for under 100 USD

 

Same here but not as nice as that. Make sure you stock up on all the rare stuff over here. Im picking up some star saphires and some fur blankets. In the UAE I know they have a lot more "stuff" but it is the UAE sooo yeah.

Last 2.5-3 footer we bought was $20 with good quality bowl and hose. Picked up up half price during a sale at a hookah bar. New of course.

The exchange rate is a bit steep in Qatar, but I couldn't find anything like that in Kuwait so I bought it while in Qatar.

A lot of the military guys here are overseas, but I wouldn't call UAE, Kuwait, or Qatar "deployed", sure it's time away from my family but there's not much danger here relative to Iraq or Afghanistan. I know TwoScoopsofHooah was in Iraq awhile and I'm not sure where Samnavy's been. I only have roughly a month left, hooray!

 

Nice, now you need a few LB of hash to go with it. I spent some time there last summer (and a few hours there last month) that KD really sucks, the good ole green back doesn’t go far there. Hookah are a lot cheaper here, (northern Iraq)Hodge shops every where

 

Yeah I try not to spend much KD, the QR wasn't TOO bad though. I don't get too much chance to go to the Haji shops.

I'll be sticking to tobacco tho, no hash for me. That'd be a guaranteed loss of clearance.

 

Yeah I dont call this place a deployment. (any place I can go off base shopping, in civilian clothes is a TDY to me.) Afghanistan I got some awesome deals in 05 (Kandahar) US money was better than gold to them in the bazaars.
