I like the way you mention both of the builders are millionaires, like every builder makes a killing. 5 or 6 years ago yah, had a nice home building bubble. Builders were stealing customers from the future, everyone was making a killing.

Now not so much now, margins have shrunk a huge amount on home building, I am literally the only person in my extended family not in construction in one way or another, and this is here in TX where we are in much better shape than most of the country, but construction is a hard business now and every dollar counts.

If the 100 dollars amount is such an immaterial amount just pay for it out of your pocket, if not put it in your contract.

I think you deserve a place to ----, like I deserve food. But hey its my responsibility to make sure I have food.
