Anyone watching the fight tonight? I was going to buy tickets since its in MA, but never ended up getting them. I'm a big fan of Mariusz, but I wouldn't mind seeing Sylvia win just because he is so much smaller...

Just checked my SKY satellite which sometimes gives me these for free since it's Mexican market but only have Kim vs. Diaz tonight.

 

Damn, silvia actually won!

 

Sylvia smaller? He had like a 6" height advantage and way longer arms. I know nothing about MMA fighting and the people involved but it was obvious that Mariusz has very little stand up fighting skills. Looks to me there was no way he was going to win if he couldn't get Sylvia on his back. And with how long Sylvia's arms are that was next to impossible.

That was one of the most pathetic "fights" I've ever seen.

What a shame, all those muscles and that dude cant fight worth a ****.

I hate the heavier weight classes. The bigger fat ***** are usually boring (like this one was), slow, and end up laying on each other.

I'd rather watch a 145-155lb fight any day. If you didnt see the Garcia vs. Jung fight from WEC 48, do yourself a favor and click the link and watch the fight (I cant find the video on youtube, but this site has the full length fight).

Ok guys, be careful searching for vids of this fight, just searched and clicked on the eighth one down, and my work computer now has the antispyware soft trojan on it. Luckily I already had malwarebytes installed and got it to boot before the .exe blocker could get going on a reboot.

You'll know the site when you see it because all the similar vids to the right say:

As a caption. Of course by the time you start to wonder how strange that is it's too late.

That was a great fight. Not sure why it was called like it was, I thought Jung had more takedowns and was more aggressive, but Garcia was awesome to watch.

Neither guy could throw a punch though, lol.

 

The first couple times I saw Garcia fight I wasn't a fan, but after seeing enough of his fights I know when he's on a card that I'm watching it. Dude always puts on a great show.

I too thought Jung should have won the fight, as did most of the crowd.
