I didn't realize the old singer was gone. I actually like that song you posted a few posts up.
Also, Chthonic toured with babymetal. I'm quite fond of them. A bit different sounding with their Taiwanese sound and traditional instruments mixed in. Most of their songs are about the tough Taiwanese history.
It also helps them that they have such a ******* hot bass player, Doris Yeh.

I think my heart is really with northern European black metal/melodic metal, with a focus on Norse mythology. Almost all of my favorite metal bands are from that region. Norwegian black metal included.
Ah yeah, i see where you are coming from. I guess i'm being too harsh, i'm actually pretty open minded with my metal usually. Anything from death metal to metalcore.
Anyways, i actually like this song (and this band, now with their new singer at least, bring on the hate). This video is pretty "out of the box":

His bass backstage

My beast sitting backstage, waiting for the slaughter. lol
Motionless in White has changed up their sound too.... Im ok with it though, because Marilyn Manson seems to have dropped the ball over the recent years.
Video was directed by Clown from slipknot.... The Guy in the white suit is Chris Fehn from slipknot (long nose mask)
And the hot chick with the red and black hair is Ashley from New Years Day.

Dueling Doris. I do like that one.
I like tracks like these. Not exactly "Metal" I guess... atmosphere tracks.
Doris, approaching 40 and capable of looking half her age.

I'd like this if it werent for the singer. Post more like it.
Honestly, after watching most the videos in this thread, it's apparent I dont actually like "metal" like I thought I did. There's just something I dont like about hearing a constipated singer scream his turd out; and that seems to be too much of a recurring theme between everything posted here.
these guys met at the college I went to, at the same time I went:
I never went to any of their shows.

We do have a few recordings, but they arent very good. We recorded them ourselves
We have a slideshow video with pics of us in the studio... but nobody will ever hear the songs we actually recorded in that studio, because they were terrible... even worse than the ones WE recorded ourselves. lol
Here is a vid... its not the whole song, but it pretty much sums up our sound
we are scheduled to record a whole album professionally at the end of this month though, so we will finally have good recordings
We changed our band name if you couldnt tell.... but these vids are from when we were Theory of God, when we had those shirts made. lol

Props man, actually better than I imagined (no offense :P). The guitar riffs are a little "generic" chug chug chug for me, if you know what I mean - but i liked the rift/breakdown towards the end of that video. I actually dig the vocals too, and drums aren't bad either. Keep playing and get some better recordings, and i could honestly say you are better than a lot of bands that are "bigtime".
