Food is freakin fantastic though. Absolutely LOVE Peruvian food.

I'd get all the recommended vaccines.

Hepatitis A
Recommended for all travelers

Typhoid
Recommended for all travelers

Yellow fever
Recommended for areas east of the Andes mountains. Not needed for Lima, Cusco, and Machu Picchu.

Hepatitis B
Recommended for all travelers

Rabies
For travelers spending a lot of time outdoors, or at high risk for animal bites, or involved in any activities that might bring them into direct contact with bats

Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR)
Two doses recommended for all travelers born after 1956, if not previously given

Tetanus-diphtheria
Revaccination recommended every 10 years

haha isnt that the truth! Dont be a *****, and just get the shot. At least you are protected against something. It seems everytime I am NEAR the damn clinic at Travis, they try and find something to inject into me...

Are you deploying? No? Well have some Typhoid anyways. And maybe another TB along with a side of sdhfskhjfjkdf

Gotta love the Army and their vaccines, I once got two vaccines for the same thing at the same time...when asked why, the "nurse" told me the second one was actually a vaccine preventing me from being fucked up by the first.....I was quite comfortable with the whole ordeal as you can imagine
