No looting or violence, no one is complaining, everyone is in high hopes, and the people APPRECIATE the offering given to them in the time of need.
This makes the Katrina nightmare look even funnier, and show's just how lazy people here have become.

To be fair, Katrina did a lot more damage than just New Orleans. Along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, for example, rescue and recovery efforts proceeded much more quickly, and there was no widespread looting or violence to speak of.
I work with a Japaneses scientist and he is going back to help along with some of my co-workers next week. If they can get there. He seems really fine with it. He said well these things happen sometimes worse than others I have talked to my family and they are finding food and water and helping with everything they can. Its like they just come together and say well were gonna have to fix this lets get going.
New Orleeeeeans isn't a model reflection of the U.S.
So it hit the septic tank of America and the media had no choice but to show that kinda crap because it accounts for 85% of the region.
I'm mostly pissed how the roaches that scattered moved on to infest other nicer cities increased crime.

Quoting my Japanese buddy living in Tokyo:
"Now in East side of Japan, It's terrible. still earthquake happens often and electricity is limited, Gas is not enough, and etc.
It's not still ordinary life but we are doing alright!!"
They are worried they just know that panic doesn't help.

Don't worry, they aren't panicking because they think the Japanese government will swoop in and pay them living expenses and housing for years after the accident, and they will all make more money, like someone elses government did.
Sometimes I really wish we could just leave all the fat ignorant "Americans" and make a new better country without them... or trick them into leaving some how. Can't be that hard.

I don't think it matters if the tsunami washed it out of where it was being stored. It sounds like a primo business location. We should all be so lucky to have sake and noodles washed into our ruined business.
Pour one bottle of beer into the pan and turn up the heat to med-hi. I used Heineken b/c all asian men drink Heineken and i figured that would make sense in an asian-style dish.

THIS IS NOT A COINCIDENCE.
