so here's a big difference between japan and katrina. the water.

would you rather have your **** underwater for weeks or longer or just have it washed away?

Just had another call, some guy had bright green pollen on the deck around his pool. He wanted to know what fallout looked like, thought it might be from japan

Also note that, unlike Katrina, where everyone had days advance warning, this earthquake/tsunami came the **** outta nowhere.

The other major factor that has allowed Japan to handle this disaster like a boss is that their infrastructure is designed to handle the natural forces that occur in that part of the world. <-- Crazy idea, huh?
