I saw this guy in Alexandria the other day. He was near a Chipotle, but that car screamed "I am not manly enough for a Chipotle burrito". That car screamed "high class honda".

My 124 is twice as old, twice as used and twice as reliable as My moms Caddy and dad's Blazer!

I have no problem doing the hardware to fit whatever whereever, but the tuning solutions at the moment are pretty limited, at least in the few hours I spent researching it. You have the unichip which is too expensive and requires some BS training to get the software to tune, and a hack of the OEM ecu which only a few guys have access to but obviously would be the best choice if there was a good GUI and open access. Maybe a parallel standalone...but I don't want to hack too much into the harness on such a nice car. I want to be able to easily reverse it if I F' up.

I think there is a nice rotrex supercharger upgrade though, from one of those who can hack the oem ecu. Some "Jan" guy. Ahh found a youtube vid.

Could we use this?
Maybe I can make friends with the Mini Techs and steal a spare to mess with

Minis rock. My wife and I have a 03 Chili Red. They handle like they are on rails, and they are peppy. The only downfall for us is the closest dealer is 45 minutes away, but the car hasnt been in the shop for anything other than scheduled service.

Congrats on the purchase.
Keep the stripes.

That might be tough the motor is different in the turbos than the older S. I think either BMW made this motor or it was manufactured by Peugot or Renault. The older 1.6s were a combination on Daimler/BMW design.

Throw some Alta Pullys on there and spin the M45 a little faster. 15% makes a noticeable difference on the car. Get the Alta intake, too.

It came with this silly intake here that I might add the Alta Silicone too:

It looks a little inefficient so i might try to re-engineer it a bit

no, but it's a 10 year old civic that lives in a city and is parked outside under trees and doesn't get the inside cleaned very often.

Sevan, if you're serious, we can talk offline about what I want/need done. basically the works package inside and out. it'd take me a whole weekend day to do it probably. I think that's worth 100 bucks.
