What ever happened with the guy who was going to JB weld the quarters on his pistons?? That was one of the funniest things I have ever read.

My intro thread: https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/t20161/

I'm still a newb so not much to reminisce about
I was here for the Mouglie fuckup. Got into it with Vash a few times cause he kept getting pissed at me being a subaru fanboi
Was here for ChuckyZ, as well as a bunch of other ------ fests coordinated by hustler. Not much else

That thread was great! lol

I wish I remembered what it was called so I could post it here. IIRC the kid came in asking stupid noob questions, then got flamed and called all his malibu buddies on us. "You guys drive miatas, your ****.....hahaha suck dicks you ****"

His name was something along the lines of "rotary miata" I believe. I flamed him so much that brainey gave me a warning
He came in here wanting to swap a rotary engine into a miata, rear mount turbo, and I quote "NOS FOGGER"
We flamed him, he went loco, got a temp ban from Joe or Brain I believe, came back and made a thread bashing the mods. CLASSIC

What about all the "oil change tutorial" threads?

EDIT: They're still not old enough for some of you but I think they're funny as hell (I'm ruger988 over there for the record)

I got banned for finding a killer deal on an FD and refusing to sell it to him...before I even owned it, the deal ended up falling through **shrug**

I too was banned by Philip. I think it was over calling a mod a ***** or something like that. All started with calling out that douchebag andy floyd who ripped off another user on a WI kit.

Philip bannd guys for sport. Was pretty entertaining.

Heh. That was one of my favoritest threads of recent memory. It stalled out a while ago, but we really had him going... Here is the whole thing: Building high compression pistons - Page 7 - MX-5 Miata Forum

The "magazine article" in question is posted at msg # 41. I created it and gave it to Brainey, who hosted it an introduced it to the thread.

Here was the "back end" discussion: https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/t28555/

I got banned twice by someone and forgot my username because I was gone for so long. I've been roaming here since '06 though, but hey is ChuckyZ like in prison for life or something? I've yet to heard the trial result from that

Everyone that missed out on the Philip era really missed out.
