Tiger Woods injured in car crash
(CNN) -- Golfer Tiger Woods was taken to a Florida hospital after suffering serious injuries in a car crash early Friday, officials said.
The one-car accident occurred about 2:25 a.m. near his home in Windermere, a suburb of Orlando, according to an incident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
Woods, 33, had just pulled out of his driveway in his 2009 Cadillac SUV and had begun to drive down a street when he struck a fire hydrant, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The front of his vehicle then struck a tree.
Windermere Mayor Gary Bruhn told CNN that local police arrived within two minutes of being notified. The golfer was taken to Health Central Hospital, where he was treated for facial lacerations and released, Bruhn said.

How the **** do you just rn into a fire hydrant for no reason? Driving drunk maybe?
EDIT: LOL at "suffered serious injuries" then "treated for lacerations and released" what exactly defines a serious injury if you get released right away?

Please explain how you hit a fire hydrant, rebound into your neighbor's tree and end up with your wife hitting your rear window with a golf club and helping you out of your car! All of this at 2.30 in the morning and coming out of your own driveway!

Interesting. Maybe she went after him with a club. Him being so scared he ran into a fire hydrant thinking the water would make her return to the den. Tiger was wrong, so in a last ditch effort, he struck a tree hoping it would fall on his wife. Instead he hurt himself. While she was getting to him the cops showed up and she had to make up a story.

I wish people would leave this kind of **** alone. The media is all over it like it is some kind of big ******* news. Leave them alone, damn. This is why I wouldn't want to be famous. They are still human and still have problems and still screw up, let them work it out themselves without the entire world watching them and their every move. Surely people can find something else to do with their time.

Heres my take. Tiger and his ultra hot wife are arguing about whatever super ultra mega rich people argue about, when Tiger decides, **** this. Jumps in his Escalade and attempts to leave, but he cant drive because car is full of giant golf tournament checks, Swedish bikini model is giving chase with a golf club and smashes the back window, Tiger crashes car, rent a cops show up, agree to cover up domestic dispute for bigger than usual Christmas bonus, issue press release 12 hours later. Phil dosen't care .
