Why is it so loud? I have a Walbro 255 and the only tim I hear it is when its priming.

 

From the video (1:49) the pump looks like an aeromotive a1000 that's mounted outside the tank. My friend runs one in his GTO and it screams, of course his car makes more than 200whp.
