Default Toyota T100 Cat Almost Stolen

My dad's T100 cat almost got stolen today. My neighbor saw some guy under the truck, she called the 5-0, and he got arrested as he was walking away w/ the cat on his shoulder.

Need to go to the police dept to pick up the cat now.

Anyway to prevent this from happening in the future, other than garaging the thing?

Hire a 24-hour security service.

Really, there aren't any methods to prevent it. Anyone with a saw or powered cutter can get a cat off in a matter of minutes. Hell for some cars, like Miatas, it's a matter of 4 bolts.

maybe wrap some barbed wire around it to make it an uncomfortable process.

Because some places give you upwards of 50-75 bucks for used cats...impossible to trace, easy to take....what more could a crack head ask for?

There are several devices on the market. A quick yahoo search turned up this one.

Or you could do like me, pseudo cat. I can just see the look on the crack heads face when he takes my straight pipe, with the heat shield on it.

Bodydrop: can't take a cat if you can't get to it.
