I got an 8, but I think question 4 is kinda messed up there are ways that cooling oil could be used, maybe it isn't, but it could. Some tough questions there.

I got a 9. Pretty surprising because some of those questions were educated guesses that could have went either way.

Eh got an 11? First question was complete guess..but got it right. Issue with temp. and pressure is a little skewed because the only use for heat is that it makes the air less dense and higher volume. and *shrug* on voting Labyrinth seals apposed to piston seals.

well wouldnt a higher egt spool up faster simply because it fills more volume? That would affect turbo performance.

Yes yes it would...but on the same hand it has it's limits and you don't really sit down and design a turbo and decide to get more out of it by making it hotter. it's sort of a trick question that if you think about it too hard could go either way.

11, with 2 lucky guesses.
I was enjoying it until #10 when I realized it was just a cleverly disguised ad. I guess it worked. Now I know what VNT stands for.

Did you take the quiz? It says that piston ring seals are commonly used on the turbine side.

9. I got most except for a few of the variable vane and intercooler questions. once I go with an IC, I bet I'd get a better score...one more reason to intercool!
