Here is one of the coolest twincharged builds I've seen lately - Eaton + Turbo in a Lotus:

Hey, that's my photographer friend that snapped some shots of Sav's car, small world. He said that car was amazing. And unfortunately rains washed that road out a few days after this video.

And yes he is that retarded on a daily basis.

Just compound two turbos and be done, or you could 2-stage 4 smaller turbos. Would still be better than the damn Rotex chargers.

Did those shots ever come out? I haven't looked at a Modified Mag in a while.

That's what they are doing....

The core of the twincharger kit is a pair of Rotrex C30-94 Superchargers which are EACH rated for 44 psi peak and a peak of 600cfm (400hp) when injesting ‘free air’. The thing is, these chargers here are installed inline, with the factory IHI turbochargers feeding the inlets of the Rotrex Superchargers.

wouldn't installing a large turbo system in parallel with a boost controlled N2O injection overcome the same issues that a twincharging setup solves while being retardedly less complex?

Probably. The one thing I see with this car is packaging. Since they didn't change the OEM manifolds and turbos it may have actually been easier to just add the Rotex units, but I'd rather see PD chargers for that low end grunt followed by the added turbo push. If you HAVE to have belt driven chargers. Right now they probably don't have much more low end response if any than factory (relative to power output) because of the Rotex design.
