This did not seem important enough for the DIY Turbo subforum, so I am here.
I have ARTech manifold/dp/exhaust on my car. I want to make a straight pipe axle-back for the track but cannot find the same style of v-band that Abe uses. Every v-band I find for sale is male/female.
Abe used a set where the two pieces are identical and they have a metal o-ring between them (each v-band has a little channel cut in it where the o-ring fits). I do not have a picture because I am not with my car.
If anyone knows where to find the v-band that uses the metal o-ring please let me know. I guess I could make the male/female style work and just use the female side, but that wouldn't be quite right.

From what I remember he used these before vibrant. V-bands became so common and affordable. They’re food grade pipe connections IIRC. And that metal ring is usually an o-ring.
From Abe when I asked him a few years ago:
The flange and clamps are made by Dixon. You can find them at most industrial supply shops that deal with sanitary fittings. You can use Chinese flanges, but stay away from off brand clamps. They bend easy. Dixon is what you need.
